Privacy

Your data, in plain English.

Who we are

Townhall is a community management service run by Ashton Jones from Wales, UK. For anything about your data, email ashtonjones72@gmail.com.

What we collect

When you fill in our contact form we collect your name, email address, project name and anything else you choose to tell us, such as a website link, a Telegram or Discord handle, a budget range and your message.

If you book a call, Calendly collects your name, email and booking details on our behalf.

We use Vercel Web Analytics to count page views. It doesn't use cookies and doesn't identify you.

Why we use it

Only to reply to your enquiry and, if you go ahead, to provide our services. Our lawful basis is legitimate interest in responding to a request you made, or a contract once we work together. We never sell your data or add you to a mailing list.

Who we share it with

Enquiries are delivered to our team by email (through Resend) and to a private team channel on Discord. The site is hosted by Vercel, and call bookings go through Calendly. Each of these services processes data on our behalf under its own privacy terms.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries for up to 12 months in case you come back to us. If you become a client, we keep what we need for as long as we work together and as the law requires afterwards.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the data we hold about you, or object to how we use it, by emailing ashtonjones72@gmail.com. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
